Itinerary
Day 1 – Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Pick-up from Marrakech hotel/airport.Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO site).Continue to Ouarzazate and explore Taourirt Kasbah.Drive through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley.Overnight in Dades.
Day 2 – Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
Morning walk in the Dades Gorges.Visit the stunning Todra Gorges.Arrive in Merzouga. Camel trek into the dunes for a sunset view.Overnight in a luxury desert camp with dinner and traditional music.
Day 3 – Merzouga Desert Exploration
Sunrise over the Sahara (optional but highly recommended).Visit Khamlia village (Gnawa music), fossil sites, and local markets.Overnight in Merzouga hotel or riad.
Day 4 – Merzouga → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate
Drive through Rissani and across the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley.Pass through scenic desert landscapes and Berber villages.Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 5 – Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Visit local film studios or final sights in Ouarzazate.Return to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains.Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
